TEACHER'S DAY
The students of Vidya Mandir Estancia celebrated teacher’s day on 5th September 2023. The event began with a special assembly conducted by the student Council . The program included dance performances, songs and poems to entertain the teachers. The teachers gave their blessings to the students. The students of classes 11 and 12 made the day extra special by acting as student teachers for the whole day. Students of class 12 took over classes 6 to 10 and acted as student teachers and the students of grade 11 managed the classes from kindergarten to class 5. The whole day was organized in such a way to celebrate and cherish the hard work of the teachers who serve as pillars of support.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION
International Yoga Day was celebrated in VME school campus on 21st June 2023. Students and teachers performed various asanas while briefing the audience about its benefits. In commemoration of Yoga Day, competitions were conducted for the students of classes 6-8 such as Slogan writing, Drawing, and Essay writing.The winners were announced and appreciated. The Principal in her address, encouraged all VME students to practice five minutes of yoga every day and also demonstrated “Vajrasana” which will help them to focus on their academics.
ALUMNI INDUCTION
Alumni Induction for the students of batch 2022-2023 was held at Vidya Mandir Estancia on 10th June 2023 at 3.00pm. Students shared their wonderful and nostalgic memories and had a casual conversation with teachers and among their peers appreciating and cherishing their priceless moments spent in the school.
NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY
National science day was celebrated on 28th February 2023 which commemorates the invention of the ‘Raman effect’ by the great physicist, Sir C.V. Raman. The Students of VME participated in various activities like dressing up like a few scientists, performing a role play on healthy foods and Migration of Birds, Charts on facts about animals, scientists, saving water and working models by primary students. Classes 6, 7, and 8 also set up an exhibit displaying various scientific concepts through charts and models and Class 11 demonstrated experiments to motivate their juniors to enrich the subject and created the awareness about the importance of Science used in the daily life of people.
PONGAL CELEBRATION
தரணி கோர் திருவிழா தமிழர் பெருவிழா அதுவே பொங்கல் திருவிழா'
வித்யா மந்திர் எஸ்டான்சியா பள்ளியில் ஜனவரி 13-ஆம் தேதி காலை முதலே களைகட்டியது. தமிழர் திருநாள் "பொங்கல்" விழாவைக் கொண்டாட வாசலில் வண்ணக் கோலமிட்டு வானவில்லாய்த் தயாரானது. விழா நிகழ்வைப் பள்ளித்தலைமை ஆசிரியர் இனிதே தொடங்கி வைத்தார். மழலையர் பட்டாளத்தின் நடனம் காண்போர் கண்ணைக் கவர்ந்தது. மேலும் மாணவச் செல்வங்கள் நடனம் ஆடுதல், கவிதை கூறல் போன்ற கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளையும் சிறப்பாக நடத்திக் காட்டினர். தமிழர் வீரக் கலையான சிலம்பாட்டம் அனைவரது உள்ளத்திலும் வீரத்தை விதைத்தது. அழகுக்கு அழகூட்ட எலுமிச்சை ஸ்பூன், உரியடி ,வடை கவ்வுதல், போன்ற விளையாட்டுகளில் மாணவர்கள் சிறப்பாகப் பங்கேற்றனர். நடுநிலைப்பள்ளி மாணவ மாணவியர் கவிதைகூறல் மற்றும் கும்மி நடனமாடி பார்வையாளர்களை மகிழ்வின் உச்சிக்குக்கொண்டு சென்றனர். விழாவின் முக்கிய நிகழ்வான பொங்கல் வைத்தல் வெகு சிறப்பாக நடந்தேறியது. இரண்டு பானைகளில் பொங்கலிட்டு இனிதே பொங்கல் விழா கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. நாவுக்குப் பொங்கல் சுவை சேர்த்தது; கலந்து கொண்டோர் இதயமும் இனிப்பான நினைவுகளால் நிரம்பியது; பொங்கல் நாள் விழா சிறப்பாக நடந்தேறியது.
Christmas Celebration
We at Vidya Mandir@Estancia celebrated Christmas in the primary campus on the 23rd of December. All the students were very excited and full of zeal for the celebration. Students came vibrancy dressed to school for the theme. The ceremony began after the school assembly at 9:30AM. After that, various programs were organized one after the other. One of the highlights was a performance of a group of class 4 and 5 students. They presented a beautiful play on the theme of Christmas followed by a rhythmic performance from the choir and an add-on KG dance performance with a surprise package by Santa Claus.The Celebrations came to end with these engaging activities and students took along the message of spreading love and peace.
Mathematics Day
National Mathematics Day was celebrated on December 22nd by proudly releasing the maths magazine of the year 2022_2023 with great inspiration and motivation to commemorate the birth day of the great mathematician Mr. Srinivasa Ramanujan. Students contributed their colourful ideas like drawing the image of Srinivasa Ramanujan, Concentric circles with colourful rangoli and 3D models with immense enthusiasm.
Constitution Day
The Constitution day was commemorated on 26th November 2022. It was a matter of pride that 6th class students had taken the initiative of presenting the introductory speech and created awareness on the ideals of the Constitution and enlightening us on the topic. They further spoke on the history and significance of the Constitution. Students had given the speech by emphasizing on the pillars of democracy and time period taken to draft the Constitution. Students encouraged and motivated all of us to abide by the Constitution . The objective was to reaffirm and uphold the ideology laid down in the Indian Constitution.. Class 6 students reiterated the values mentioned in the Constitution by reading out the Preamble. To add to the grandeur of the event students displayed charts with appropriate images of the Constitution as positive reinforcement.
Library Week 2022-2023
On account of celebrating Library week, several activities were conducted in our school to enhance the reading and critical abilities of the students. The Primary grade students were given activities such as colouring the book cover, word search, identifying the characters from the novel and weaving a story. The Middle school students participated in book oriented activities i.e., completing a story and critically analyzing the characters. The Secondary school students were asked to ponder over their favourite characters in terms of designing costumes, reasons to keep them as a preference etc . The Senior Secondary students were given challenging activities to interview their favourite characters and talk about a movie adapted from a novel. These activities were conducted to let the students understand the importance of books and library in their day to day life.

Recitation and Elocution Competitions
Recitation and Elocution activities help students to build confidence as they learn to speak more accurately and persuasively about any piece of writing. Keeping this in mind, a Recitation Competition was organised for our students to exhibit their artistic skills.
VME MUN
The first edition of VME MUN was conducted on 20 October 2022 and 21 October 2022. Students of numerous schools partook in the event with great vigour. On the first day, Mr.S Arunachalam, who served as an advocate in Cuddalore, and Mrs.Maya Sivaramakrishnan — the correspondent of VME — graced the opening ceremony with their presence besides Mrs.Sankari Ravi, the principal of VME and Avinash, the secretary general of VME MUN. The dignitaries lit the sacred lamp, following which the blessings of the Almighty were invoked. Avinash then declared the conference open, and the delegates scurried to their committees enthusiastically. The committees present were: DISEC, UNHRC, IPC, UNSC, WHO, ECOFIN, UNEP and UNESCAP. Nearly 370 students took part in the MUN. The two days of VME MUN 2022 were characterized by intense debate and discourse on the issues prevalent in the society and the fulfilment of the tasks assigned. At the end of the first day's committee sessions, the participants rejoiced in the cultural event. After the successful completion of all the committee sessions, the participants gathered for the valedictory ceremony which was adorned by the presence of Dr.Bhavanishankar — the senior principal of Lalaji Memorial Omega International School, Mrs.Maya Sivaramakrishnan, Mrs.Sankari Ravi, Mrs.Meenakshi Janakiraman — the vice principal of high school, Mrs.Subhalakshmi — the vice principal of primary and Mrs. Vandana Rathore — the KG in-charge. The delegates who performed well were awarded accordingly. Eventually, Shree Niketan and MVM received the 1st prize and 2nd prize respectively in the 'best delegation' category. Avinash, finally, declared the conference closed, thereby bringing the MUN to a satisfactory end. Overall, the MUN was a huge success, which surely couldn't have been possible without the help and encouragement of the teacher coordinators, executive board members, members of The MUN Company and student volunteers.
International Literacy Day
International Literacy Day is celebrated on September 8 to highlight the significance of literacy and how it is a matter of dignity and human rights. Various events were conducted to familiarise students with the significance of education.
Diwali Celebration 2022 - 2023
South India celebrates Diwali as the day that Lord Krishna defeated the demon Narakasura. This religious festival signifies the victory of good over evil and the triumph of light over darkness. In our school, Diwali 2022 was celebrated on 21st October, Friday with great joy. Students from Primary school performed a great show by various cultural programmes like narrating stories on Diwali.They sang a Hindi song, an English song , a Tamil song and presented a speech . The theme of 'Green Diwali ' was instilled in the young minds of children effectively by our beloved V.P.P .
நவராத்திரி விழா
நமது பாரம்பரிய விழாவான நவராத்திரியை இளைய தலைமுறையினருக்குக் கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் விதமாக வித்யா மந்திர் எஸ்டான்சியா பள்ளியில் நவராத்திரி விழா 22.9.22 வியாழக்கிழமை அன்று கோலாகலமாகக் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. நிகழ்ச்சியின் துவக்கமாக இறை வணக்கப் பாடல் பாடப்பட்டது. தொடர்ந்து நவராத்திரி விழாவின் பெருமைகளையும் சிறப்புகளையும் மற்றும் நமது கலாச்சாரத்தையும் விளக்கும் விதமாக ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களின் பேச்சு அமைந்திருந்தது. விழாவிற்கு மேலும் மெருகூட்ட மாணவர்கள் லட்சுமி சரஸ்வதி துர்கை போன்ற வேடங்கள் அணிந்து வந்து அழகு சேர்த்தனர். மாணவர்கள் நம் கலாசாரத்தை விளக்கும் விதமாக செவிக்கு இனிமை தரும் பாடல்களையும் பாடி இந்த விழாவிற்குப் பெருமை சேர்த்தனர். நவராத்திரி விழாவின் முக்கிய நிகழ்வாக வந்திருந்த அனைவருக்கும் வெற்றிலை பாக்கு பழம் மஞ்சள் குங்குமம் நிரம்பிய தாம்பூலம் வழங்கப்பட்டு விழா இனிதே நிறைவேறியது.

It is a pleasure to state that our school conducted several activities to mark this remarkable day of reading. DEAR was observed on the first of July. Students of classes three to twelve participated in the month of Reading with gusto . In a nutshell the objective was to stress on the importance of reading and to promote this healthy habit.
World Enterprise Day
காமராசர் பிறந்த நாள்
காமராசர் பிறந்தநாள் ஜூலை 15 ஆம் நாள் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.கல்வியின் வளர்ச்சிக்காக பல பணிகளை ஆற்றியுள்ளார் என்பதை நாம் நினைவு கொள்வோம். நம் பள்ளியில் முதல் வகுப்பு, இரண்டாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் காமராசர் போல் வேடம் அணிந்து அவர் ஆற்றிய பணிகளை பற்றிப் பேசினார்கள்.மற்றும் மூன்றாம் வகுப்பு, நான்காம் வகுப்பு, ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் அவர்களைப் பற்றிய சில வரிகள் பேசியும் பாடலாக பாடியும் அனைவரையும் மகிழ்வித்தார்.
World Environment Day
The world Environment day was celebrated with zest on 7th June 2022 to raise Environmental awareness to take positive environmental action to conserve Nature and the planet Earth. Keeping this aim in view, the students of VME of classes 3 to 12 passionately participated in the various activities such as poster making, role play, pledge and speech etc. The event was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation and stepping into the threshold of a greener world.
Earth Day
The Earth day celebration was celebrated on 22nd April 2022 to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s natural environment.A special assembly was marked and Students of Classes 3 to 8 showcase their artistic and creative skills by displaying posters on “Save earth”. Role play depicted the dire need to protect the Earth and proved to be an eye-opener for the students and the educators. The students took a pledge to preserve and conserve their self-sustaining planet.The events of the week rekindled emotive concerns and instigated the youngsters to save, love and respect Mother Nature with all their heart and soul.Let's join hands together and save our Mother Earth.
